MCC

Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is an American government agency whose mission is to reduce poverty through economic growth.

Established by the U. S. Congress, MCC is governed by a Board of Directors, composed of members representing the public and private sectors and chaired by the U. S. Minister of Foreign Affairs.

MCC's main tasks are to ensure the management of the funds mobilized for the financing of cooperation programmes concluded with eligible countries, to supervise the governance and management of projects, Provide technical assistance to the MCA-country entities and conduct technical reviews and approval of several documents (global procurement plan, quarterly disbursement requests, implementation plan, monitoring and evaluation plan, environmental and social performance plan, gender and social inclusion action plan, ..etc.).
