Education for Employability Partnership Fund

Endowed with $ 4.6 million and advocating a partnership logic involving the private sector and civil society actors, the Education for Employability Partnership Fund aims to encourage innovative projects dealing with school life and pedagogical approaches and representing a real added value for the consolidation and sustainability of the planned interventions within the framework of the integrated model for the improvement of Secondary Education establishments, called "Challenge School".

To select the Fund’s partners, two calls for projects were launched. The first call for projects, launched from 06 December 2016 to 06 February 2017, has led to the selection of three projects for the benefit of students from 34 high schools in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma pilot region, benefiting from the deployment of the "Challenge School" model related to the “Secondary Education” Activity.

Supported by the “Education for Employment” Foundation (EFE), the Moroccan Foundation for School tutoring  (FMSS) and the consortium Association ATIL-Fondation CODESPA, these three partnership projects relate respectively to the implementation of a training program in soft skills, a school support program and an extracurricular activities program.

The second call for projects, launched from February 13 to May 10, 2018, resulted in the selection of a training project in life skills which will be deployed at the level of 56 high schools benefiting from the deployment of the “Challenge School” model” in Fes-Meknes and Marrakech-Safi Regions. Led by the International Youth Foundation (IYF), this project aims to create extracurricular life skills clubs in order to strengthen the orientation of students.
