The "Land Governance" activity, whose budget is in the order of $9,9 million, aims to provide support to the government in order to better coordinate the action of the various managers in the State's fields and to strengthen coordination between the various players in the land sector. This activity aims to revitalize the land market by facilitating investors' access to land, modernizing the legal arsenal governing the land sector and simplifying land mobilization procedures.The support provided to the government within the framework of this activity covers (i) the development of a national land strategy and an action plan for its implementation, using a participatory approach that promotes consensus building and ownership of this strategy by all stakeholders; and (ii) the implementation of the priority actions of the said action plan.
